RHS Wisley Gardens and RHS Flower Shows. I owe a lot to the RHS. My mother used to take me to Wisley when I was a child (easily bribed with the offer of a cream tea !). I used to work in the cafe there (not the posh one there now, it was a much smaller affair but the honeycrunch is still the same if a bit smaller !) for several years from the age of 15 (Saturday job – remember those ?!). I started going to Chelsea Flower Show donkey’s years ago – ditto Hampton Court. Although I think the RHS has become rather a behemoth now, it’s still an awesome institution.
Reading Stained Glass – where I get all my glass from – John and Grae are the loveliest most helpful people
Caroline Loveys – for teaching me stained glass, which led on to fused …………..
